WeServeAI · Snapfie
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026 · Contact: info@weserveai.com
This policy explains how WeServeAI (“we”) handle information in Snapfie, our optical try-on product (Android app and snapfie.weserveai.com). Related: Terms & disclaimer. Shared WeServeAI mobile policies also live at weserveai.com/mobile-ideas/privacy.html.
Summary
- Shoppers do not need an account to try frames on.
- A preferred face photo can be saved on the device for faster try-on. We do not use it as a login identity.
- When you run try-on (snap a wall or use a published wall), face and frame/wall images are sent to our servers so an AI service can generate try-on previews. Processed results may be returned to your device for display and optional sharing.
- Store owners / staff who sign in create an account so they can publish curated walls. We store account and store/wall content needed to run that console.
- This product does not include third-party advertising SDKs in the versions this policy describes.
Information we process
On your device
The Android app may store a preferred face photo and recent try-on images locally so you can reuse them. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage removes that local data. Optional cloud backup to Google Drive / OneDrive is not offered yet; if we add it later, this policy and the Play listing will be updated.
Try-on processing (network)
To detect frames on a wall photo and composite frames onto a face photo, the app and website send those images to WeServeAI-hosted APIs. We use a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini) to generate detections and try-on previews. Images are processed for that purpose. Do not upload photos of children or anyone who has not consented to try-on.
Store console accounts
If you sign in as a store user (for example with Google), we receive basic profile information from the sign-in provider (such as name and email) and store the walls, frame labels, prices, and published codes you create. Shoppers opening a published wall link do not need to sign in.
Permissions
The Android app may request camera access (face photo, wall photo, QR scan) and network access (try-on APIs and published walls). Gallery picks use the system photo picker where available; we do not request broad photo-library access for that. Sharing a result uses the OS share sheet (for example Photos or messaging apps you choose).
Retention
Local face/try-on data stays on the device until you delete it or uninstall. Server-side try-on requests are processed to produce a result; we do not operate a consumer gallery of shopper face photos. Store account and published wall content remain until the store user deletes them or asks us to remove the account (contact below).
Children
Snapfie is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required in your region). Do not use it to collect personal information from children.
Third-party services
Sign-in providers, AI processing providers, hosting, and apps you share to have their own policies. This policy covers Snapfie as operated by WeServeAI.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy where allowed by law.
